This role analyzes non-conformances, performs root cause investigations, and develops engineering dispositions to maintain product safety, quality, and compliance. The engineer collaborates closely with production teams on the factory floor to address structural, systems, and manufacturing challenges while supporting design reviews and product lifecycle improvements.               • Bachelor's degree and typically 20 or more years of experience in an engineering classification, or a Master's degree with typically 18 or more years of experience in an engineering classification, or a PhD degree with typically 15 or more years of experience in an engineering classification.

              • Analyze production non-conformances, conduct root cause analysis, and develop engineering dispositions.
              • Apply engineering and design principles to assess and resolve product and process issues throughout the product lifecycle.
              • Research technical, operational, and quality issues to support the development of final engineering solutions.
              • Identify, document, and analyze reported problems and communicate deviations that may impact design intent or safety.
              • Develop and implement product and process improvements to enhance production performance and quality.
              • Support Integrated Product Teams and participate in design reviews.
              • Represent the engineering organization on the factory floor during aircraft production and post-production activities.
              • Ensure supplier and build partner compliance with engineering standards and requirements.
              • Develop engineering correspondence to support continued safe operation and maintenance of aircraft equipment.
              • Participate in on-site repair teams, accident investigations, and engineering support activities.
              • Analyze damage repairs or structural modifications to determine appropriate jacking and shoring requirements.
              • Design interim structural repairs and perform static strength analysis.
              • Develop non-destructive testing procedures, tools, and standards. Physical Requirements & Environment
