Job Description

About the Role As a Production Process Engineer, you will serve as a technical leader responsible for optimizing manufacturing workflows and driving operational excellence. You will leverage your expertise in process design and data analysis to troubleshoot complex production challenges and ensure the seamless introduction of new products. Responsibilities Spearhead process improvement initiatives to maximize throughput, minimize waste, and elevate overall quality standards. Provide hands-on technical support to the production floor, resolving equipment issues and implementing corrective actions to maintain uptime. Lead the end-to-end integration of new product launches, including tooling development, process design, and production trials. Utilize ERP software to manage bills of materials, routings, and inventory data to ensure high levels of accuracy. Analyze production metrics and KPI trends to provide actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making. Oversee capital equipment projects, managing the full lifecycle from initial specification and procurement to final validation. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure all manufacturing processes adhere to safety, quality, and environmental compliance protocols. Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering. 2-3 years of professional experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues and manage projects independently. Proficiency in ERP systems and data management tools. Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and shop floor operations. Preferred Skills Prior experience in elastomer, rubber, or urethane production environments. Demonstrated success applying Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency. Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification. Advanced knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and material science.
