Mechanical Technician Job Description As a Mechanical Technician, you will work in the Motion Solutions Department, where you will be responsible for troubleshooting, reworking, building, and assembling control panel boxes for clients. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and rework control panel boxes. Build and assemble control panel boxes from schematics. Read and interpret schematics and schematic diagrams. Conduct validation testing and label equipment. Build pneumatic assemblies according to instructions and drawings. Use basic machinery such as saws, drill press, tapping machine, and grinder. Essential Skills Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics. Experience with ladder logic and PLCs. Ability to conduct validation testing. Familiarity with control panel assembly and wiring. Work Environment The work environment is not temperature controlled, so it may get warm in the summer. The department is expanding, with plans to build out the other half of the area. Work hours are on 1st shift Monday to Friday from 6am to 2:30pm, with Saturday shifts available, and 2nd shift Monday to Friday from 1:30pm to 10pm, also with Saturday shifts available. The dress code includes comfortable clothes, closed-toe shoes, and non-offensive t-shirts. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Corona, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
