Job Description

We have an immediate opening for a full time Mechanical Engineer/Technician to participate in simulation test design and hands-on mechanical testing of a variety of components to systems. Tests include mechanical shock, vibration, temperature cycling, temperature/humidity, altitude, salt atmosphere, constant acceleration, water ingress, and water/chemical immersion. Ideal candidates will have experience in completing some to all of the tests above.
Candidates should already have:
Sound understanding of engineering theories and laws, and the ability to apply them. The ability to read, analyze and interpret Mil-Stds, technical schematics, test standards/procedures, work instructions and customer specifications. Hands-on experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, microscope, ratemeter, power supplies and various hand tools. We are a premier test solutions provider for electronic components and systems that are used in defense, space and commercial avionics industries. Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements An Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, technical certification or related combination of experience and education. Experience in vibration or shock testing desired. Experience in Aerospace AS9100, Defense DLA component testing environment is desired.
