Job Description

Job Summary A Hair Transplant Technician assists the surgical team during hair restoration procedures by preparing patients, harvesting and handling follicular grafts, and supporting the implantation process. The technician plays a critical role in ensuring graft viability, maintaining sterile techniques, and providing excellent patient care throughout the procedure. Key Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms, surgical instruments, and supplies before procedures. Assist physicians and surgical staff during FUE hair transplant procedures. Harvest, sort, count, and preserve follicular grafts under microscopes. Assist with graft placement and implantation according to physician instructions. Maintain strict sterile and infection-control protocols. Monitor patient comfort and provide support throughout the procedure. Take pre-operative and post-operative photographs as required. Educate patients on post-operative care instructions. Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation. Clean, sterilize, and organize equipment after procedures. Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies when needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Medical assistant, surgical technician, nursing, or related healthcare experience preferred. Experience in hair transplantation (FUE) preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and for extended periods. Excellent communication and patient-service skills. Knowledge of sterile techniques and infection-control practices. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. Ability to work with microscopes and small surgical instruments. Preferred Skills Experience with graft dissection and implantation. Familiarity with hair restoration technologies and procedures. Strong teamwork and organizational abilities. Work Environment Medical clinic or hair restoration center. Full-time or part-time position. May require occasional weekend availability based on surgical schedules.

Lead Hair Transplant Technician, Surgical Coordinator, or Medical Director.
