Mechanical Technician Job Summary We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Mechanical Technician to support product development and engineering projects. This role will assist the Development Team with prototype builds, testing, troubleshooting, and technical support to ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet performance objectives. Responsibilities Assemble prototypes, sub-assemblies, engineering builds, and trade show units Perform testing of components, PCBs, modules, and assemblies under the direction of Development Engineers Troubleshoot and assist in resolving issues related to systems, instruments, and components Identify root causes and recommend design improvements Procure materials and components from internal and external sources Rework materials, assemblies, and instruments as needed Support the operation and maintenance of 3D printers and other laboratory equipment Assist with additional engineering and development tasks as assigned Qualifications Mechanical aptitude and hands-on assembly experience Ability to read and follow technical drawings, instructions, and procedures Experience with troubleshooting mechanical and electromechanical systems preferred Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Experience with prototypes, testing, or product development is a plus Why Apply?
