Role Overview This is a role that's ideal for someone that is eager to roll up their sleeves, be hands on and move fast. As Engineering Technician, you'll be a key to the successful delivery of our product to customers. This will include fabricating and testing hardware, and managing procurement, inventory and shipping. What You'll Own Engineering Design and Analysis Work with engineering to design mechanical parts and systems from concept through fabrication-ready models Work with engineering evelop and maintain engineering drawings, tolerances, and BOMs to support fabrication and procurement Work with engineering to iterate designs based on prototype feedback, test results, and field observations Mechanical Assembly & Fabrication Assemble mechanical and electromechanical products using hand tools and fixtures Fabricate components and hardware as needed Support basic electrical assembly tasks including wiring, connector termination, and soldering Perform product inspections, fit checks, and functional tests Conduct mechanical and fatigue testing on prototypes and production units Record measurements, test outcomes, and anomalies during evaluations Inventory, Purchasing, & Documentation Handle ordering, receiving, labeling, and stocking of hardware Update inventory, usage logs, receiving spreadsheets, and build records Document assembly procedures, mechanical processes, and test workflows Help maintain up-to-date build instructions, SOPs, and technical notes Shipping & Customer Support Package and ship completed mechanical assemblies to customers Update shipping logs, tracking info, and outgoing inventory records Communicate with customers regarding shipments or returns Scrap-Metal Sorting & Analysis Sort scrap-metal samples for testing Operate material-analysis instruments to characterize metal composition Record measurements, manage sample IDs, and help maintain datasets Assist in preparing data for analysis, charts, and internal reports Requirements What We're Looking For High School Diploma/GED Expereicene working in mechanical, manufacturing, electrical, or robotics related fields 1-5 years of experience in technical, mechanical, or hands-on engineering work Ability to commute to our facility in Worcester, MA on a regular basis Comfortable performing manual tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, tools, fixtures, or fabrication Self-sufficient, organized, and able to manage competing priorities without close supervision Preferred Skills Experience with basic electrical work: low-voltage wiring, soldering and PCB-level assembly Experience with packaging, shipping, or inventory management Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take initiative to solve problems and complete tasks Interest in materials, recycling, or sustainable technology (bonus) You're a Great Fit if
