Overview Element has an opportunity for a Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our rapidly expanding team. Salary:
$24- $32/hr DOE Responsibilities Perform general duties in accordance with Element's internal procedures, quality as well as Health and Safety system Following all written procedures Interpretation of internal and client requirements Apply an array of testing techniques in a rational and practical style to help examine issues and build solutions Operating testing equipment Maintain in-depth knowledge of test standards, product test procedures, and instrumentation. Application of instrumentation and the setting up of complex data capture equipment Report writing, data interpretation and analysis Perform other duties to fulfil the demands of the laboratory Maintain client confidentiality at all times Skills / Qualifications Mechanical Engineering Degree or experience working within a mechanical testing environment preferred Hands-on job Strong mechanical aptitude Strong technical knowledge Strong computer skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent attention to detail Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to analyze and compile testing data from the tests performed Self-motivated with the ability to multitask, organize and work under the pressure of a busy commercial test laboratory Working knowledge of laboratory safety In-depth understanding of testing concepts Company Overview Element is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
