Location:

Starting at $22.86 /hour, based on education, experience, and internal equity

Collaborate with skilled facilities and operations professionals What You'll Do as a Plant Operations Technician Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems Maintain and service HVAC systems, boilers, generators, pumps, control systems, and related equipment Monitor systems for proper function, diagnose issues, and implement corrective actions Conduct preventive maintenance according to established schedules to reduce downtime Assist in installation and setup of new equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and emergency maintenance situations Troubleshoot complex technical issues in collaboration with the operations team Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance and repairs in electronic management systems Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized service or inspections Maintain organized inventory of tools, spare parts, and supplies Participate in ongoing training to enhance technical knowledge and skills Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Technical or vocational training in plant operations, mechanical systems, or related field preferred Proven experience in plant operations, facilities maintenance, or a similar role Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics Proficiency with maintenance tools and equipment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Effective communication and teamwork abilities Basic computer skills for documentation and maintenance tracking Physical & Work Environment Frequent lifting, climbing, bending, squatting, and working in confined spaces Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull equipment and materials as required Prolonged standing and walking (≥ 8 hours per shift) Exposure to temperature variations, noise, and mechanical environments Potential exposure to hazardous materials consistent with plant operations On-call responsibilities and flexibility to respond to emergency situations outside regular hours What Sets Us Apart
