Mechanical Technician Bedford,NH Are you a skilled Mechanical Technician looking to make an impact in a dynamic environment? Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team for a 3-month temporary assignment on the 1st shift. This role is pivotal in manufacturing precision mechanical products and subassemblies, ensuring they meet stringent quality and cosmetic standards. Responsibilities of the Mechanical Technician Set up, operate, and maintain mechanical assembly and production equipment. Assemble and align components according to blueprints, diagrams, and written instructions. Perform inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy, quality, and cosmetic standards are met. Troubleshoot and report any inconsistencies or equipment issues. Maintain accurate records of production activities and quality checks. Follow established safety guidelines, ensuring a clean and organized work area. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and continuously improve processes. Requirements of the Mechanical Technician High School/Trade School diploma and 2-4 years of related mechanical assembly experience. Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with assembly tools such as torque wrenches, presses, gauges, and calipers. Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Commitment to quality, precision, and continuous improvement. Safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. Ability to occasionally remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. Capability to move objects up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
