Through a detailed understanding of the factory objectives and extensive collaboration with internal and external teams, the Engineering Technician will help improve processes to increase overall efficiency, capacity, and safety.

Tesla is a demanding and fast-paced environment where you will work on a critical subsystem of an incredibly exciting product. What You'll Do Assist Industrial Engineers in data collection and performing quantitative analyses related to layout design, work measurements, capacity planning, headcount planning, and factory space planning Collaborate with Production Management and cross-functional support teams to identify manufacturing constraints and execute solutions accordingly Frontline leaders in implementing engineering solutions for layout design and 5S Develop 2D equipment and factory layouts in AutoCAD Ability to prepare diagrams to illustrate workflow,product routing, floor layouts, material handling, and equipment utilization Ability to collect statistical production cycle time studies, analyze data, and optimize process. Working knowledge of 5S principles, Work Measurement, JIT, Kanban and Problem Solving Methods What You'll Bring Understands the definition of Takt time, target cycle time, and factors of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) in depth Moderate data analysis skills

• Tableau/ SQL knowledge is a plus Able to work under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.

Conflict resolution and change management skills are a plus Intermediate skills in AutoCAD, Revit, Excel, and PowerPoint (Visio is a plus).
