The incumbent may be assigned to duties including electrical, HVAC, roofing, painting, masonry, as well as other general maintenance duties. The Plant Technician may also operate machine tools and perform machine operations. Assignments may be given verbally or in writing by the Director of Maintenance.

General Duties:

Assist with general maintenance of the facility building and grounds Performs preventative maintenance services for equipment Tours and inspects the building/facility for safety concerns Prepare surfaces for painting Paint and tile areas as assigned by the Director Provide remodeling/renovations as required Assist other maintenance staff as needed Snow removal during the winter season, lawn care during other seasons All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Knowledge of maintenance procedures and guidelines Basic knowledge of maintenance techniques and tools Must be a team player
