Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Mechanical Technician to assist with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems. This role is ideal for someone starting their career in mechanical maintenance or manufacturing who is eager to learn hands-on technical skills in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with inspecting, testing, and maintaining mechanical equipment and machinery Perform basic repairs and preventive maintenance tasks under supervision Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals Use hand and power tools safely and effectively Help diagnose mechanical issues and recommend solutions Maintain accurate maintenance and service records Follow all company safety procedures and policies Support senior technicians and engineers with projects and equipment installations Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Technical school or vocational training in mechanics, manufacturing, or related field preferred Basic understanding of mechanical systems and tools Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn and take direction Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical systems Experience using measuring instruments and diagnostic tools Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking systems
Work Environment:
Manufacturing, industrial, or maintenance setting May require overtime, shift work Apply now!
