Mechanical Technician Job Description As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for disassembling, reassembling, relocating, and upgrading machinery in industrial plants. Additionally, you will be tasked with installing production lines and conveyor systems for manufacturing plants, as well as fabricating and welding steel using MIG and STICK techniques. Fabricate and weld steel using MIG and STICK techniques. Essential Skills Experience in machine installation and conveyor systems. Proficiency in construction and hand tool usage. Strong mechanical ability. Willingness to learn millwright work. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with basic hand tools and welding tools. Local to the Lima area. Why Work Here? The position typically operates on a first shift from approximately 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., subject to slight adjustments. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lima, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
