As a member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in supporting the design, development, testing, and maintenance of mechanical systems and components. Responsibilities include assisting with the preparation and interpretation of engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports. You will collaborate with engineers to evaluate prototypes, perform routine and specialized tests, and collect and analyze data to ensure systems meet performance and quality standards. You will support the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment, leveraging your technical skills to resolve issues and optimize system functionality. Responsibilities may involve preparing cost estimates, participating in material selection, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Attention to detail is essential, as you will document project progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with manufacturing, production, and quality assurance teams, providing hands-on support during assembly and testing. Strong communication skills are required to relay technical information effectively and assist in training staff on equipment operation and maintenance procedures. Adaptability is important, as you may be involved in multiple projects and must respond to changing priorities. The ideal candidate demonstrates practical knowledge of mechanical systems, proficiency in relevant software and instrumentation, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. An ability to interpret and apply technical standards, troubleshoot problems, and work collaboratively across disciplines is essential. Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is an asset, as is familiarity with CAD tools and equipment diagnostics.
