Job Description

Mechanical Field Technician - Cooling Towers Installation & Commissioning (Hands-On Required)
Location:
Greater San Antonio, Texas Pay:
$25-$33/hr + Overtime + Benefits + Vehicle This role requires direct, hands-on installation AND commissioning experience on cooling tower systems. Candidates without field installation and startup experience on cooling towers will not be considered. Work Scope Field-based mechanical work on active cooling tower systems across industrial and commercial sites. Install cooling tower structures, casing, fill, drift eliminators, fan stacks Install and set motors, gearboxes, drive shafts, bearings, couplings Perform alignment of fans, shafts, and rotating assemblies Execute tower rebuilds, retrofits, and mechanical repairs Assist with VFD integration and motor terminations Start up and commission cooling tower systems post-install/rebuild Diagnose and correct mechanical issues during commissioning Work at elevation and travel between job sites Required Experience (Non-Negotiable) U.S. Citizenship or Green Card Hands-on installation AND commissioning of cooling towers Minimum 2+ years field experience in cooling towers, millwright work, or industrial mechanical construction Direct experience with rotating equipment (fans, drives, motors) Working knowledge of VFD-driven systems in the field Ability to read and execute mechanical drawings Valid driver's license Email your Resume to rick@libertyjobs.com and let's find time to talk. #asscotiate #fieldtechnician #engjobs1776
