Job Description

Manufacturing Engineer Location:
Pell City Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Process Engineer to join our team in Pell City. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and product quality. Analyze process data and identify areas for improvement or cost reduction. Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve process issues. Design and implement process control systems and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Lead or support process validation and qualification activities. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Participate in new product introductions and scale-up activities. Provide technical support and training to production staff as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Proven experience as a Process Engineer or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of process design, optimization, and control techniques. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Proficiency with process simulation software and Microsoft Office Suite. Work Environment This position is based in Pell City and involves working in a manufacturing facility. The role may require occasional visits to production areas and collaboration with various departments.
