Skilled in mechanical design, tooling and fixture development, GD&T, and manufacturing process improvement within aerospace, defense, automotive, and industrial manufacturing sectors. Strong background collaborating with cross-functional teams including R D, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain to improve manufacturability, resolve production issues, and maintain engineering documentation. Proficient in SolidWorks, ERP systems, APQP methodologies, and technical work instruction development. Core Responsibilities Supported transition of new products from development into production manufacturing environments Evaluated manufacturability and collaborated with engineering teams on design improvements Designed tooling, fixtures, and assembly aids to improve production efficiency and repeatability Created and maintained manufacturing processes, work instructions, and technical documentation Participated in design reviews, engineering change processes, and product release activities Generated and maintained Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Methods of Manufacturing in ERP systems Supported root cause investigations, corrective actions, and non-conformance resolution activities Assisted Quality teams with inspection criteria, process validation, and compliance requirements Collaborated with suppliers to define technical requirements and resolve manufacturing issues Supported APQP activities including PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flow documentation Provided technical support for machining, welding, fabrication, and assembly operations Analyzed production and engineering data using Excel to improve manufacturing performance Technical Skills SolidWorks
