Job description: Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead and optimize manufacturing processes within a dynamic production environment. The ideal candidate will oversee engineering projects, improve manufacturing efficiency, and ensure compliance with industry standards such as
ISO 9001.
This leadership role requires extensive experience in industrial and process engineering, robotics, tooling, and CAD/CAM software. The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement initiatives and fostering innovation across the manufacturing facility. Duties Lead project scheduling, planning, and execution for manufacturing process improvements and new product introductions. Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues in production lines and develop effective solutions. Design, review, and modify schematics, CAD models (SolidWorks, Creo), and technical drawings for tooling, fixtures, and machinery. Program and troubleshoot robotics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CNC machines, and vision inspection systems to enhance automation. Oversee plastics injection molding processes, fabrication, welding, assembly line optimization, and tooling development. Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations, reduce waste, and improve productivity. Manage process engineering activities including CAD/CAM programming (GD&T, CAM programming) and industrial equipment maintenance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on factory layout planning, mechanical design modifications, and continuous improvement projects. Ensure compliance with
ISO 9001
standards and maintain documentation for quality assurance audits. Provide technical guidance on mechanical knowledge areas such as fabrication, assembly, robotics integration, and industrial equipment maintenance. Experience Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field; Master's preferred. Proven experience in manufacturing or factory environment with a focus on process engineering or industrial engineering roles. Extensive background in project scheduling, root cause analysis, CNC programming (including G-code), robot programming, and CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo). Hands-on experience with plastics injection molding processes, tooling design, welding techniques, fabrication methods, and assembly line operations. Familiarity with lean manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives. Knowledge of industrial equipment maintenance, vision inspection systems, CNC machinery, GD&T standards, CAM programming tools. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with expertise in automation technologies such as robotics and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
