Manufacturing Engineer 1 ~ (Entry Level) We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Junior Manufacturing Engineer to support our connector manufacturing operations. This is an entry-level opportunity for an engineer interested in learning the manufacturing process from the shop floor and gaining practical experience in aerospace and defence connector production. The Junior Manufacturing Engineer will work closely with other Manufacturing Engineers, the Production team, and Quality to support connector assembly, process improvements, tooling, documentation, troubleshooting, and production efficiency. The ideal candidate is willing to learn, enjoys working with their hands, and is interested in developing their engineering skills in a manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support manufacturing and assembly of various electrical connectors, including Micro-D and other aerospace/defense connector/ harness products. Learn and support connector assembly processes such as wire cutting and stripping, Crimping and contact installation, Hardware installation, Potting and epoxy application, Contact trimming, Connector assembly and inspection. Work directly with production employees to understand manufacturing processes and identify improvement opportunities. Assist with process improvement initiatives focused on quality, productivity, ergonomics, cost reduction, and cycle-time reduction. Collect and analyze basic production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Work with Quality Engineering to investigate defects, rework, and process-related issues and internal audits. Perform other engineering and manufacturing-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field. 0-2 years of manufacturing engineering experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply. Strong interest in hands-on manufacturing and learning production processes. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation. Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and problem-solving techniques. Strong analytical and communication skills. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Willingness to learn aerospace/defense connector manufacturing requirements, processes, internal audits, and standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

Internship, co-op, or project experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement. Familiarity with 5S, root-cause analysis, standard work, Kaizen, or process mapping. Basic CAD/SolidWorks experience. Experience working with hand tools, production equipment, or manufacturing fixtures. Physical Requirements Ability to work in a manufacturing environment. Pay:

$60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
