JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures, and work instructions to meet product specifications and quality standards. Collaborate with design engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability of new and existing products. Analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce cycle times. Evaluate and integrate manufacturing equipment and technologies into production lines. Lead and participate in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to drive continuous improvement. Implement cost reduction strategies, waste elimination, and quality enhancement efforts. Support quality assurance by developing inspection and testing procedures and resolving production-related quality issues. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and evaluate supplier performance. Maintain accurate documentation including SOPs, process specifications, and engineering changes. Generate reports on production metrics and key performance indicators.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing. Knowledge of IPC-610 and
J-STD-001
standards. Experience with post-solder processes such as conformal coating, selective soldering (ERSA), depaneling (G-Tech), press fit equipment, and plasma cleaning. Familiarity with Factory Logix or similar systems preferred. Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Strong experience with SMT processes, including: Solder Paste Printing (MPM or Ekra) Solder Paste Inspection (Koh Young) Component Placement (Mycronic or Fuji) Reflow Ovens (BTU) AOI and X-Ray (Koh Young, Nordson, or Omron)
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Electronics manufacturing facility supporting defense and aerospace production. Work performed around SMT lines, automated equipment, and production systems. Exposure to industrial manufacturing conditions.
