The ideal candidate has experience leading new product from introduction to maturity, plus experience in both a machining (repeatable) production environment and a new product/R D manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop and implement the manufacturing process/planning, procedures, inspection criteria and additional documentation required to meet customers: drawing, purchase order and specification requirements for new product and product revisions Analyze current manufacturing processes. Investigate, identify and report root cause and lead the implementation of corrective actions Provide Engineering support for day-to-day production and inspection processes. Interface with the quality team for new product, rework, and deviations. Liaison between production, quality, supply chain and design engineering staff for complex problem solving and process changes. Must be able to work independently and as a team. Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, aerospace engineering. 3+ years of experience. Must be proficient in
CATIA V5.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge:
Ability to develop necessary new processes where none exist Experience transitioning products from design to manufacturing as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment. Capable of solving complex problems with little to no supervision. Pareto analysis, root cause and corrective action experience.
Technical Skills:
Experience transitioning products from design to manufacturing as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment Experience modeling with 3D CAD software e.g.:
CATIA V5
Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) experience - Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding note requirements, tolerance blocks and geometric tolerances, and print orientation
Interpersonal Skills:
Ability to multitask and work effectively as a team
