At least 3 years of hands-on manufacturing experience in a CNC machining environment (required). Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, machining practices, engineering principles, and inspection requirements. Familiarity with AS9100 and
ISO 9000
quality system standards. Experience creating, implementing, and refining manufacturing procedures and process flows. Understanding of root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive action methodologies. Ability to interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and shop instructions. Comfortable using common inspection equipment and measurement tools. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CAD software; Siemens NX or TopSolid experience is preferred. Key Responsibilities Evaluate manufacturing operations and identify opportunities to improve quality, throughput, and cost performance. Interpret engineering specifications and drawings to define product and process requirements. Design and optimize manufacturing methods and process plans that meet product specifications and quality expectations. Perform contract reviews by assessing customer purchase orders, drawings, and supplemental documentation, then develop manufacturing plans from the collected requirements. Generate production documentation, including routers/plans, sketches, technique sheets, and other supporting records required for manufacturing. Establish optimal operating parameters, create detailed work instructions, drive process improvements, and develop tooling or shop aids when needed. Conduct capability studies and collect process data to determine the most appropriate manufacturing approach. #

$50.00 - $60.00 per hour
