Preferred Qualifications Utilizes a hands-on approach to engineering and problem-solving Demonstrates commitment and tenacity; a self-starter who learns quickly and adapts to find new solutions in the face of adversity Communicates technical information clearly and persuasively in both written and verbal forms, adapting content to suit the intended audience Employs project management tools to effectively plan and track work to completion; diligent and reliable in executing tasks independently Experience on the shop floor, in a hobby or professional context, is helpful Experience working with highly cosmetic parts or products is preferred Experience with design, data preparation and simulation software for additive manufacturing BS or higher in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial engineering, or related fields preferred Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of experience in mechanical product development, manufacturing engineering, tooling engineering, high precision fabrication, or similar roles Ability to travel 25%+ is required Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $163,500 and $246,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
