We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the Preform Processing area, with a focus on industrialization, process development, and production readiness for new product introduction (NPI) initiatives. This role will partner with engineering, operations, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to successfully transition new products, processes, and equipment into production. The Manufacturing Engineer will support manufacturing process development, equipment implementation, production ramp-up, and continuous improvement efforts while driving safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives.Key Responsibilities:
- Support industrialization of new products, manufacturing processes, and production capabilities.
- Drive manufacturing readiness activities for NPI programs from development through production launch.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Support equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, and validation.
- Evaluate manufacturing layouts, tooling, workflows, and equipment to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for manufacturing issues.
- Support process validation, capability studies, and production qualification activities.
- Analyze production data and identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance process performance.
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support capacity planning, production ramp-up, and manufacturing readiness reviews.
- Ensure compliance with quality requirements and aerospace manufacturing standards.
- Coordinate activities across cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and implementation goals.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 3 or more years of manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace or other regulated manufacturing environments.
- Experience with industrialization, production readiness, NPI/ Product Introduction, or manufacturing process development.
- Knowledge of process validation, process capability, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience supporting equipment installation, qualification, commissioning, or startup activities.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Experience creating manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and engineering specifications.
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Strong project coordination, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Aerospace, composites, advanced materials, or automated manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge of APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, SPC, and process capability analysis.
- Experience with MES, ERP, or manufacturing execution systems.
- Experience supporting factory expansions, equipment industrialization, or production ramp-up efforts.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or similar continuous improvement certification.
- Experience in high-volume, highly regulated manufacturing environments.
