This NPI Project Engineer opportunity in Fremont, CA offers the chance to lead new product introductions from concept through launch while working with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams. With a strong culture focused on safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys driving complex projects and seeing products successfully move into production. Qualifications and responsibilities for this NPI Project Engineer position include: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field (or equivalent experience)

• Lead new product introduction projects from planning and system setup through shipment and post-launch review. 3+ years of experience in NPI, project engineering, manufacturing engineering, or similar roles
• Develop and manage project plans including schedules, resources, and long-lead items. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machining, tooling, and fixturing
• Define and validate part requirements, manufacturability, and technical documentation. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and purchase order requirements
• Ensure compliance with customer and quality standards. Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external vendors
• Manage outside processing (OSP), tooling, fixturing, and testing requirements. Strong project management and risk assessment skills
• Track project performance, manage changes, and mitigate risks. Proficiency with MS Office and SolidWorks
• Support project documentation, technical reviews, and engineering coordination. Strong communication and organizational skills
• Provide status updates to internal stakeholders and customers while driving continuous improvement.

Salary:

$110,000

• $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
