Manufacturing Engineer CHawk Technology - 3.8 Hayward, CA Job Details Full-time $85,000 - $105,000 a year 17 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Employee assistance program Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Carpentry Mechanical blueprint interpretation Interpersonal skills Engineering CAD design (engineering design task) Electrical schematic reading and interpretation Mechanical drawings Data interpretation Control systems Mechanical knowledge Woodworking Full Job Description Key Responsibilities (but not limited to): Lead the creation of Operation Method Sheets, Sequence of Events, fixture design, final test procedures, and Quality Control checklists for electromechanical systems Drive technical problem-solving activities and root cause analysis Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects and equipment improvements Perform failure analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions Oversee equipment installation, qualification, and maintenance activities Lead and participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement solutions to improve efficiency, quality, and cost
Essential Skills:
Extremely hands-on with strong mechanical aptitude Practical experience in how things are made (i.e., woodworking, auto mechanics, home repair, etc.) Clear and effective verbal and written communication Strong ability to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions Able to work onsite full week
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment Strong foundation in engineering principles including mechanics, electronics, and control systems Proficiency in CAD software and basic programming concepts Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) a plus Compensation /
