Job Description:
Head Of Manufacturing We are looking for a Head of Manufacturing to define and execute manufacturing strategy in a fast-moving, product-focused environment. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will build manufacturing capability in parallel with ongoing product development. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, scalable, and ready for production Key Responsibilities Define and implement manufacturing strategy across multiple hardware programmes Develop production processes, tooling, and build workflows alongside evolving product designs Partner with engineering to optimise manufacturability, integration, and scalability Establish production planning, quality standards, and operational procedures Lead assembly, integration, and test activities for complex hardware systems Identify and mitigate production risks, inefficiencies, and bottlenecks Collaborate with supply chain to ensure material readiness and supplier alignment Drive the transition from prototype builds to full-scale production Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing manufacturing team Take ownership of production execution, planning, and delivery mileston es Skills & Experience Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in high-reliability hardware manufacturing environments (e.g. aerospace) Proven track record supporting products from early-stage development through to production Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, assembly integration, tooling, and production planning
