Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Manufacturing Automation Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of automated manufacturing systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive efficiency, enhance product quality, and advance manufacturing processes through cutting-edge automation technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in robotics, control systems, and mechanical design, with a passion for continuous improvement and problem-solving in a fast-paced production environment. Duties Experience in automation and/or manufacturing environment (tooling, equipment, process and assembly experience preferred) Experience with robotic manipulators (cartesian, SCARA, Parallel link, 6 axis robots) Sensors and machine vision system application Material handling systems: carriers, conveyors and index tables Assembly process: pick and place, screw driving, heat staking, adhesive films, liquid adhesives, curing, cleaning, parts feedings, etc Statistical analysis: measurement system analysis, process capability, process control, DOEs, etc
Production:
up/down time, availability and maintainability Cycle time optimising, process control, process flow and process optimization Candidate requirements: Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus). Experience with robotics, control systems, and instrumentation (sensors, actuators). Familiarity with CAD software and other engineering analysis tools. Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Familiarity with automation components such as sensors, actuators, vision inspection systems, and tooling. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards preferred. Ability to perform root cause analysis quickly and efficiently to resolve automation issues promptly. Pay:
$90,305.62 - $108,755.15 per year
