Job Summary The Manufacturing Engineer I is responsible for maintaining equipment and supporting process development. The qualified candidate will use their expertise to maintain equipment up-time and compliance, support process improvements, and maintain equipment related consumables stock to support aggressive production timelines. The engineer will work closely with operations leadership to maintain equipment up-time and ensure production process is not inhibited by equipment related issues. Responsibilities will include collaborating with cross functional teams for scheduling planned maintenance downtime, maintaining stock of necessary equipment, consumables and spare parts, and recording calibration and maintenance records under our ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System. This is a hands-on role that requires both planning and execution in the manufacturing laboratory. This position reports to the Manufacturing Science and Technology Manager Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, or automated issues on the production floor to reduce downtime Schedule on-demand repairs with approved vendors Execute preventative maintenance programs Execute commissioning, qualification, and validation protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ) for new and modified equipment Conduct investigations for equipment deviations, non-conformances, and CAPAs (Corrective and Preventative Actions) Identify new equipment available on the market to meet business needs Train cross functional teams on proper use and maintenance of equipment Perform all work in accordance with our

2015 Quality Management System Create and revise documentation according to document control practices as needed Perform other related duties as required or assigned Some weekend / evening work is expected of this role Performs other duties as assigned Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in biochemistry or related scientific discipline or equivalent experience Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant equipment engineering experience Prior experience in one or more of the following equipment:
