(HIRELCO) is an industry leader whose expertise is in designing and manufacturing custom and MIL-Spec interconnect products for a variety of industries including Aerospace and Defense. We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to help identify delays in production and sources of waste, then use technology and engineering principles to refine the manufacturing system.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborates with production, quality, test lab, and design engineering teams to ensure project/department milestones are met and in adherence to approved budgets and/or timeline. Participate in design reviews of new product to ensure tooling and assembly process is feasible. Maintaining an organized production workspace including but not limited to: Keeping equipment operational by coordinating maintenance, repair services, and cleaning schedules. Ensuring effective manufacturing compliance with regulatory and environmental, health and safety requirements. Actively addressing technical problems and finding effective solutions to help reduce lead times and increase productivity. Tool design and documentation in accordance with company MRP system. Maintaining procedures for equipment usage and manufacturing processes. Creation of Acceptance Criteria. Root cause failure diagnosis of manufacturing problems. Create production route sheets and assembly instructions.EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline or a minimum of 1 years manufacturing experience Strong analytical, problem solving, and trouble shooting skills Hands-on experience using lean manufacturing tools and equipment Ability to work effectively within cross departmental teams and independently Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills Excellent geometric dimensioning and tolerancing skills and experience with wiring diagrams Excellent time management skillsPay:
