At Tinker Tin Company, we bring ideas to life with a focus on precision and authenticity. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer based in Vista, CA. In this role, you will lead the development, optimization, and implementation of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and product quality. Responsibilities include designing and refining production systems, overseeing machining processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and employing LEAN manufacturing principles. You will analyze workflows, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Qualifications Strong expertise in Manufacturing Processes and Manufacturing Engineering methodologies Extensive knowledge with wood and metal construction and building techniques, including cabinetry, furniture, metalwork Proficiency in Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering principles Hands-on experience in Machining techniques and operations Proven ability to lead and execute continuous improvement initiatives using LEAN, JIT, or related frameworks Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a process-optimization mindset Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field Experience with CAD and CAM tools with proficiency in Solidworks, Fusion360 and SketchUp Effective leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration abilities Familiarity with workplace safety, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance practices
Salary Range:
$90k-$150k, Bonus, Benefits, Large Growth potential
