Description Summary:
This position involves maintaining and communicating a high level of technical knowledge regarding design, specification, and application of Motor Control Center & Switchgear products and solutions. Responsibilities revolve around designing, specifying, and technically supporting Motor Control Centers and Switchgear.
Reports to:
Automation Solutions Group Manager Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA in Engineering. Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics preferred. Requires 3-4 years of product area experience. Professional communication skills necessary. Requires basic knowledge of personal computers and MSOffice.

Motor Control Center Applications Engineer Bilingual Working Conditions:
Frequent Visits to job sites, factories, and processing facilities. Requires driving in excess of 100 miles daily plus sitting, standing and frequently walking up stairs. Requires lifting products and demonstration equipment up to 60 pounds.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Provide customers and profit centers with technical support of MCCs and Switchgear solutions. Design, engineer, and configure Motor Control Centers and Switchgear. Assist division sales staff in the specification, configuration, and technical support of assigned products. Interpret customer provided one-line drawings and written specifications to configure Motor Control Centers & Switchgear solutions. Work with Rockwell Automation resources to obtain and maximize competitive pricing levels for our customers. Plan, organize, and schedule calls with current and prospective customers. Maintain a positive relationship with Rockwell Automation to ensure awareness of new products and procedures. Introduce, demonstrate, and specify new products to customer's Purchasing, Maintenance, Operations, Engineering Departments and Management. Help to create Rockwell Annual Business Plan and participate in quarterly Target Account Planning sessions. Create and conduct customer commercial plan initiatives and training events. Maintain and internally distribute all reference materials and demonstration equipment relative to assigned products. Veteran Compensation Range:
The compensation range for this position is $90000 to $115000 annually.
