  • Support and contributes to safe work practices to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture;
  • Contributes to the development and Implementation of lean sigma projects roadmap through the application of Hoshin Kanri
  • Leads Lean Sigma projects that will produce significant cost savings and customer satisfaction (Kaizen/ One Safran), Workshop facilitator
  • Ensures improvement projects are on schedule including PDCA, DMAIC, One Safran, etc.;
  • Deployment of advance Lean Methodologies (VSM, SMED, TPM & DMAIC)
  • Serves as a One Safran referent. Coaches One Safran project leaders. Sustains and promotes the One Safran methodology
  • Develop process mapping / SIPOC processes to improve the process on site
  • Drives development of Lean six sigma methodologies by eliminating production wastes
  • Delivers advanced employee Lean Sigma Green Belt training Kaizen Approach
  • Mentors Green Belt candidates to reach certification ensuring compliance to methodology;
  • Serves as coach of QRQC focal. Provides QRQC methodology trainings. Serves as a subject-matter expert in regards to problem-solving approach.
  • Promote and uses problem-solving methodologies (Analytical, and negotiation skills), develop innovative solutions and pursue Quality Improvements
  • Contributes on the workstation cell design by enhancing efficiency of the areas, includes Line balancing, Layout changes, standard work, etc.
  • Support 5S's improvement or certification trough site
  • lead or contribute to timely internal follow up reports (CI progress or management meetings)
  • Fosters the Lean Sigma culture within the organization;
  • Keeps focus in Best Practices sharing and implementation;
  • Provides benchmarking and best practice research;
  • Makes presentations to review status of projects as appropriate;

Job Requirements Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Lean Manufacturing and Six-Sigma methodologies training, with a minimum of Lean Sigma Green Belt Certification.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in Aerospace or related industry, desired.
Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of an industrial entity processes and operations. Technical awareness of manufacturing processes and indicators.
  • Demonstrated ability with quality and continuous improvement tools (Process FMEA, Risk analysis, Root Cause Analysis, 5W, 5S, DMAIC, VSM, etc.)
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles & tools; ERP principles.
  • Project Management skills.
Practical experience with the management of complex projects. Familiarity with the organization practices of a progress plan
Computer Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in the use of common software packages including MS Office suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, PowerPoint and Visio.
  • Capable of managing large amounts of data and tasks.
  • Competency in performing data analysis through data business analytics services (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
Other Skills:
  • Problem solving skills - ability to analyze a problem and determine if driven by design, supplier or other factors in a timely fashion
  • Capacity to operate in a plural-disciplinary, inter-cultural and international environment
  • Proven ability to build strategic working relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Must have excellent technical writing, oral communication, and presentation skills
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

Maintains a continuous learning environment with production and support functions. This role supports the local Safran Cabin sites in their Continuous Improvement initiatives. This role is responsible for energizing the local sites, using Lean-Sigma and One Safran methodology and tools to positively Impact Customer Satisfaction, Delivery & Quality Performance, and Financial Performance, working closely with leadership at all levels to ensure CI efforts driven throughout the organization.
