Job Description

Engineering Technician - Graveyard Shift Temp to HIre Monday-Friday, 11:00 PM-7:30 AM $27-$35/HR + Shift Differential Our client is seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to support manufacturing operations, equipment, automation, and process improvement in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. What You'll Do Support Engineering with the build, installation, testing, and validation of automated and semi-automated equipment. Troubleshoot, repair, set up, and adjust complex production equipment. Provide technical support to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently. Identify and implement process, equipment, and automation improvements. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC, and CNC-controlled equipment. Fabricate and modify equipment using hand tools, welding, cutting, and assembly techniques. Develop and update work instructions and equipment documentation. Support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. Work closely with Engineering, Production, and other departments to resolve equipment and process issues. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent. 5+ years of technician experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. Experience with automated or semi-automated assembly processes. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Experience with PLCs, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and production equipment. Ability to read and follow technical documentation and work instructions. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Comfortable using hand tools, electrical test equipment, and computer software. Experience with CAD or manufacturing software is a plus.
Preferred:
Experience in medical device manufacturing, ISO-regulated environments, or Lean Manufacturing. Physical Requirements This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and use of hand tools. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs . is required.
