This role partners closely with Operations, Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Planning & Supply Chain, and Business IT/OT to translate business needs into measurable improvements in throughput, cycle time, delivery performance, operational efficiency, and cost. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with expertise in Lean Manufacturing, data analytics, and continuous improvement to optimize manufacturing processes across a multi-site production environment. Key Responsibilities Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives across a multi-site precision manufacturing network by identifying waste, improving process capability, and increasing operational efficiency. Develop, maintain, and optimize production capacity models and scheduling logic to support production planning and identify gaps between manufacturing capacity and customer demand. Design and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions that provide real-time visibility into throughput, cycle time, equipment utilization, production performance, and delivery metrics. Partner with Business IT/OT teams to ensure Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and shop floor data are accurate, reliable, and effectively integrated into reporting and planning tools. Lead structured root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives, implementing sustainable corrective actions and standardized processes. Create and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and operational knowledge repositories using SharePoint, Confluence, or similar collaboration platforms. Analyze manufacturing performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, planning, supply chain, and business stakeholders to implement process improvements and support strategic manufacturing initiatives. Utilize AI-enabled analytics tools and Snowflake to enhance reporting, automate analysis, and support data-driven decision making. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex manufacturing data into actionable business insights. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience working across multiple functional teams. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-mix manufacturing environment. Preferred Experience Experience with one or more of the following is highly preferred: Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping) Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), such as Siemens Opcenter or similar platforms Power BI or other business intelligence and data visualization tools Advanced Production Scheduling (APS) software such as Preactor or similar scheduling applications Capacity modeling, production planning, and machine utilization analysis SQL and database querying for manufacturing data analysis ERP systems such as Oracle or similar enterprise platforms Statistical analysis, process capability studies, and root cause analysis Time studies, labor standards, workflow optimization, and process documentation Snowflake and AI-powered analytics tools for manufacturing reporting and operational insights Preferred Certifications Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preferred.
