Neurovision Medical Products develops and markets intraoperative monitoring technologies for the identification and preservation of motor nerves. Our mission is to provide leading-edge neuromonitoring surgical tools that empower clinicians to improve patient outcomes. Neurovision Medical Products is located in Ventura, California, USA.
Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for controlling NMP product specifications, manufacturing & assembly requirements, and production processes. This includes supporting the design control transfer into manufacturing implementation. Other duties to be assigned include, but is not limited to, prototyping and drawing creation, production and servicing support, product lifecycle management, cost reduction, and process improvement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manufacturing & Engineering o Design and conduct manufacturing validations for new products, internal and external. o Perform equipment qualifications (IQOQPQ). o Support design transfer for product development projects. o Lead change control on existing medical devices. o Create and maintain SolidWorks drawings for equipment, tools, raw materials, and products. o Create and maintain ERP part numbers through the creation process and BOM changes. o Maintain and develop production routers and labor plans. o Maintain Design History File (DHF) for NMP products. o Support NMP company initiatives through various projects as needed. Process Improvement o Continuous improvement on production processes, assembly, and servicing. o Support and maintain risk analysis in manufacturing through pFMEA. o Review interdepartmental processes related to engineering and operations to improve overall efficiency. o Assist in identifying and implementing cost saving initiatives. Operations Support o Support Nerveäna Plus servicing and complaint handling through QMS system. o Support troubleshooting in manufacturing, reworking of products, and RMA disposition of medical devices. o Conduct equipment maintenance and preventative maintenance control. o Participate in root cause investigations for internal and external complaints or non-conformances. Perform analysis and identify corrective actions per the QMS system. o Ensure that manufacturing processes maintain alignment and compliance with approved QMS processes as well as applicable quality and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or equivalent). 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Essential Knowledge and Skills Experience with medical device manufacturing is preferred. Experience working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. Experience with electronics manufacturing. Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent 3D modeling software is required. Knowledge of PCB schematics, assembly and troubleshooting are preferred. Understanding of electrical schematics, circuit diagrams, etc. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies. Understanding of Design Control processes. Experience with ERP systems. Experience with eQMS systems is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and multi-tasking capability. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to achieve results with minimal oversight. Proficient with Microsoft 365 - Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Planner. Strong team player a must. Working Conditions Lift/Carry 25 lbs Screentime up to 8-10 hours a day Bend/Stoop/Kneel 2 hrs a day Stand/Sit/Walk 8-10 hrs a day Dexterity required. Vision requirements correctable to 20/20 vision Operate moving vehicles.

$80,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
