The Sr Advanced Design Engineer - Sustaining Engineer provides daily engineering support to project management and operations through the engineering and production cycle. Each pump or compressor is engineered to order and requires multiple analysis tools to verify the design. The primary responsibility of this Sustaining Engineer is to provide technical support to all areas of the company. It will require a solid grasp of mechanical assemblies and rotating equipment, as well as the ability to troubleshoot errors in the logic in customized programs. The position will support the update of drawings, designs, and tools to support the Project Management team in executing projects. This will be an onsite role in Arvada, CO, and you will report directly to our Engineering Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- + Develop and maintain and detailed understanding of the technical design requirement for our legacy product lines of high-speed centrifugal pumps and compressors + Aid in the disposition of non-conforming parts and troubleshooting test and assembly issues.
YOU MUST HAVE
- + Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Mechanical Engineering preferred. + 5 or more years' experience in a similar position. + Proficiency with Siemens NX or similar 3D Modeling software + Prior experience with pressure containing components and instruments. + Experience with design of rotating equipment, preferably compressors or pumps. + Experience designing mechanical components with FEA
