Day Shift Travel:
Up to 15% Have you taken a prototype into production and worked through the challenges along the way? We're hiring a Principal Manufacturing Process Engineer to lead process development for quantum cryogenic and semiconductor test equipment. You'll own manufacturing methods, solve complex production problems and help engineers turn successful prototypes into repeatable builds. What you'll do: Lead New Product Introduction (NPI), design transfer and manufacturing process validation. Define assembly methods, tooling requirements and process controls. Conduct Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews. Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions and manufacturing risk reduction. Improve first-pass yield, cycle time, defect rates and rework. Develop SOPs, work instructions, travelers and process flow documentation. Mentor junior engineers and standardize manufacturing practices. What we're looking for: Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience, master's with 3+ years, PhD, or equivalent experience. Strong manufacturing process development and production troubleshooting experience. Ability to own technical decisions and collaborate across engineering, quality and operations.
