JOB SUMMARY
The Sr. Manufacturing Engineer at Overhaul Support Services (OSS) is responsible for the design and implementation of repair and overhaul processes providing high-quality, economically competitive services to customers. The Sr. Manufacturing Engineer also has a key role in improvement of current processes as well as development and introduction of new product/services in support of business growth.
D U T I E S & A R E A S O F R E S P O N S I B I L I T Y
Primary Duties & Areas of Responsibility:
Designs and develops overhaul/repair processes, methods, drawings, procedures, instructions, equipment, fixtures, and tooling. Provides engineering support and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) for customer reviews and audits. Provides training to shop floor operators in support of new projects. Provides project management to promote efficient transition of new projects from development to production and ensure projects are on schedule and within budget. Builds relationships and maintains communication with customers in support of existing programs and projects. Supports preparation of proposals and quotations, and provides pre- and post- award customer interface. Supports OSS and

leadership to identify and evaluate potential new product and service growth opportunities. Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned based upon the needs of the business.

BA/BS/AS
in Engineering or Material Sciences related field A minimum of 3 years of experience in the MRO sector or related manufacturing sectors 7+ years of experience in Engineering related roles, preferably in Aerospace, Fuel Engines or Generators, related components and technology Strong mechanical aptitude and experience translating customer requirements into technical procedures and job instructions Skilled in blue print and technical documentation reading and interpretation. Thorough understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT). Project management experience and skills to drive successful project implementation while maintaining strict adherence to schedule and budget plans Results driven collaborator with excellent communication skills and an aptitude to relate to all levels of an organization Well organized, energetic, positive, self-directed, and self-confident individual with high personal integrity and a collaborative personality Motivated and capable leader that is driven by a continuous process improvement mentality Required Skills, Competencies & Certifications Ability to read, write and understand English. Proficient communication skills in dealing with internal and external customers Ability to read, analyze, and interpret work instructions, technical specifications and acceptance criteria. Ability to comprehend technical documents such as manuals, blueprints, technique sheets. Must be able to become an FAA certified repairman. Must be proficient in computer skills such as Excel, Word, and ERP systems. The ability to perform basic shop math, fractions, decimals.
