General Summary:
The Engineering Intern assists the Manufacturing Engineering Team with production projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and capital justifications. The position provides hands-on engineering experience in an Aerospace facility.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Reads and interprets blueprints, symbols and geometric tolerances based on military and commercial specifications. Generated drawings from models Editorial changes on tool sheet or setup instructions Create work instructions on jobs or special processes Special projects, such as implementation of Zoller software Submission on flight safety documents Fixture designs Works on other projects as assigned by ManagerPOSITION REQUIREMENTS
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Junior/Senior Mechanical Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Working knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks, preferred Extremely well-organized with superior attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask, work in a high pace environment and meet deadlines.
