Job Description

Job Summary Our client is a precision contract manufacturer producing highly engineered components and sub-assemblies for complex, patient-critical medical devices. They are looking for an Engineering Project Manager to lead New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from kickoff through production hand-off. What You'll Do Own NPI projects end-to-end — managing scope, timeline, quality, and cost while keeping customers and internal teams aligned Lead cross-functional teams spanning engineering, quality, tooling, maintenance, production, and procurement Identify and manage project risks, communicating milestones and issues clearly and proactively Partner with technical teams to troubleshoot process, equipment, and tooling challenges Coordinate with outside suppliers and vendors on materials, components, tooling, and equipment Own technical documentation, including
IQ/OQ/PQ
protocols and reports What You Bring 5+ years of project management experience as an engineer or PM, ideally in medical device manufacturing Hands-on comfort working directly in a manufacturing environment PMP certification a plus Experience with Smartsheet or similar PM software Technical background in manufacturing processes: tooling, stamping/milling/turning/grinding, injection molding, laser processing, or assembly Proficiency in 3D and 2D CAD (Solidworks, AutoCAD, or similar) Ability to read technical drawings and design specs Familiarity with PPAP, lean manufacturing/Six Sigma, and
ISO 13485
a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills Hands-on presence required at Berlin, CT, and New Britain, CT, facilities.
Pay:
