Job Description

Job Overview The Sr Electrical/Embedded Design Engineer will support the design, development, testing, documentation, and sustainment of electronic products from concept through production. This role involves microprocessor-based design, embedded programming, analog and digital circuit development, real-time I/O, low-power design, EMI compliance, and power supply design. The position also supports product improvement opportunities by collaborating with cross-functional teams and assessing industry requirements and competitive trends. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, self-directed engineer with experience in embedded systems and a strong interest in developing reliable, manufacturable electronic products. Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering/technical design support on projects
  • See project electronic designs through ideation to execution
  • Responsible for sustainment of products in production
  • Product opportunities with Marketing, industry requirements, competitive analysis
  • Microprocessor based design, bare metal-based coding, analog and digital circuit design, real time I/O, low-power design, EMI compliance, power supply design
  • Documentation, testing and certification in conjunction with manufacturing a new product and supporting production Qualifications Essential
  • BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • 5+ years Embedded programming experience
  • Experience with sensors, wireless, and/or data collection systems
  • Familiarity with communication driver designs such as RS-232/485, USB, or ethernet
  • Ability to support or lead development projects
  • Demonstrated ability to be a self-learner with strong drive to research, experiment, and be hands on with projects Preferable
