Job Description

About the Role As a Process Development Engineer, you will lead the transition of complex designs into high-precision CNC production environments. Your expertise in CAD/CAM integration and process optimization will directly impact our ability to deliver high-quality components while driving operational excellence across our machining workflows. Responsibilities Design and validate robust CNC machining strategies, including advanced tooling and fixture development for multi-axis platforms. Drive continuous improvement by analyzing production data to reduce cycle times, minimize material waste, and enhance overall throughput. Provide critical Design for Manufacturability (DFM) feedback to engineering teams to ensure seamless product launches. Execute root-cause analysis and implement corrective measures to resolve complex technical challenges on the shop floor. Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including standard operating procedures and setup guides. Mentor production staff on advanced machining techniques, quality standards, and best practices to elevate team capability. Champion Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including 5S and Kaizen, to foster a culture of efficiency and safety. Qualifications Required Skills 5+ years of professional experience in CNC process engineering and precision machining. Advanced proficiency in CAD/CAM software suites and verification tools like Vericut. Deep technical knowledge of multi-axis milling and mill-turn lathe operations. Expertise in GD&T (ASNI Y14.5) and the ability to interpret complex engineering blueprints. Proven track record in root-cause analysis and systematic problem-solving within a manufacturing environment. Preferred Skills Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering. Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems for production scheduling and inventory management. Prior experience in high-precision industries such as aerospace or medical device manufacturing. U.S. Citizenship status.
