full-time Responsibilities Design severe and general service control valves to customer specifications and internal design standards Select appropriate materials and hardware Prepare and review detailed SolidWorks assemblies and bills of material Release Work Orders to manufacturing/assembly Review customer design specifications and ensure compliance Maintain design library and project document files Prepare and revise valve drawings Provide technical support to customers, vendors, and production personnel Write test procedures to meet internal and customer requirements Work to internal deadlines for engineering deliverables Qualifications Working knowledge of MS Office Advanced CAD Software (SolidWorks preferred) Great interpersonal and communication skills Ability to interpret manufacturing drawings Knowledge of mechanical design and simulation /analysis Basic understanding of thermodynamics Basic understanding in principles of flow as well as fluid statics/dynamics Basic understanding of properties of engineering materials
