Decimal Engineering is a fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing facility specializing in CNC machining and custom sheet metal fabrication. As we continue to grow, we're seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive process improvements, enhance production efficiency, and ensure the highest quality standards.
Your Role:
As a Manufacturing Engineer , you'll play a key role in developing and optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. You'll collaborate with production teams to solve technical challenges and improve workflow.
What You'll Do:
Process Development & Optimization
  • Design and improve manufacturing processes for precision machining and sheet metal fabrication. Fixture & Tooling Design
  • Create custom fixtures, tooling, and work instructions to enhance production efficiency. Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure all manufacturing processes align with
AS9100, ISO
9001, and GD&T standards. Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives and process enhancements. Collaboration & Troubleshooting
  • Work closely with machinists, engineers, and quality teams to resolve production issues. Production Support
  • Assist in developing manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.

What We're Looking For:
0-1 years of manufacturing engineering experience Understanding of machining, sheet metal fabrication, and production processes Proficiency in CAD software: SolidWorks (required) Autodesk Inventor (a plus) ERP/MRP software experience (Made2Manage is a plus) Lean Manufacturing & Process Improvement experience Knowledge of GD&T and ability to read engineering drawings Experience in designing tooling, fixtures, and workholding solutions is a plus Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication & teamwork abilities
