We're a young company building the operational backbone needed to scale focused on efficiency, quality, and speed. We're not looking for someone to maintain the status quo. We're looking for someone to own it, improve it, and scale it. The Role As a Manufacturing Operations Engineer, you will take ownership of production throughput, batch execution, and process performance across the facility. This is a hands-on, floor-driven role. You'll work directly with production, QA, and leadership to identify bottlenecks, solve problems in real time, and implement improvements that increase output and consistency. What You'll Own Production & Throughput Own daily manufacturing performance across batching, filling, and packaging Identify and eliminate bottlenecks impacting output Drive improvements in cycle time, yield, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) Batch Execution Ensure smooth, compliant execution of OTC and cosmetic batches Troubleshoot production issues in real time Partner with QA to maintain GMP and FDA compliance Process Improvement Analyze batch data to identify variability and inefficiencies Implement practical solutions Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methods Cross-Functional Leadership Work across Production, Quality, and R D to improve coordination and execution Support deviations, CAPAs, and root cause investigations Help standardize SOPs and batch records Scaling the Operation Build systems and workflows that support growth Contribute to capacity planning and operational strategy Help shape how the plant runs as we expand Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related) 2-6+ years of manufacturing experience (OTC, pharma, cosmetics, food, or similar) Understanding of GMP / FDA-regulated environments Experience working with batch processes Preferred Experience in a CMO or high-mix production environment Lean / Six Sigma experience Familiarity with mixing, filling, and packaging operations
