Job Description

Seeking a Supplier Recovery Engineer to play a critical role in improving supplier performance across quality, cost, delivery, and manufacturing capacity. In this highly visible position, youll partner directly with suppliers and cross-functional teams—including Procurement, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, and Program Management—to identify root causes of supplier challenges and implement sustainable recovery plans. Youll lead supplier audits, drive process improvements, analyze manufacturing bottlenecks, and help ensure suppliers can meet the production demands required to support the future of human spaceflight. The ideal candidate has a bachelors degree in engineering and experience working with complex hardware manufacturing, supplier management, and product development teams. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, hands-on manufacturing knowledge, and expertise in areas such as DFx, process mapping, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, supplier quality, or manufacturing process development is highly valued. This position involves domestic travel exceeding 50% and offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on supplier performance and production readiness for one of the most ambitious aerospace programs in the world.
Compensation:
