THE WORK

• Analyzing and optimizing CCA, module and/or cable manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality
• Identifying and implementing process improvements across multiple CCA/cable programs and utilizing tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies
• Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and design specifications for fixtures and stencils
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to ensure seamless implementation of process changes
• Work closely with senior engineers to gain experience and learn manufacturing processes.
• Conducting experiments and trials to validate process improvements and ensure compatibility with existing equipment and systems
• Providing technical support and guidance to production staff, including training and mentoring as needed

Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team, focusing on process improvements across for our CCA and cable assembly builds. Successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes, implementing improvements, and ensuring the highest level of efficiency, quality, and reliability. Experience with Nextgen radar programs is a plus. What You Will Be Doing As a Manufacturing Engineer you will play a key role in driving process improvements and optimizing our manufacturing operations. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from process development and implementation to equipment maintenance and repair. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of process changes and provide technical support and guidance to production staff.

• Ability to walk up and down stairs, as well as stand for long periods of time, in order to access and troubleshoot equipment on the production floor

National Pay Statement Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $67,000 - $117,990. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
