Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Basic understanding of CAD software such as Siemens NX, CREO, Pro Engineer, or Solidworks (

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for driving process improvements within small parts assembly, paint, and plating manufacturing areas
• Interpret drawing requirements and create detailed work instruction documentation to support production needs
• Perform root cause analysis of component non conformances and ensure implementation of effective corrective action
• Create fixture and tooling concepts, drawings, and models
• Identify, evaluate business case, and drive successful implementation of automation and IFF technologies
• Participate in capital investment/equipment evaluation, selection, and project management
• Provide shop floor support as necessary to resolve technical and manufacturing issues
• Monitor and report on quality, schedule, and cost performance of assigned projects/programs

• Working knowledge and experience using MES, PLM, and ERP systems (

• Experience with paint application and masking processes for components and assemblies (metallic and composite) (

• Knowledge of precision measuring tools, gauges, and equipment (

• Experience with implementing automation manuacturing solutions (Not required, nice to have)
• Experience with 3D Printing (

• Experience with chemistry, including execution of titrations, pH analysis, large volume plating line evaluation and troubleshooting (Not required, nice to have)
• Familiarity with ISO9000 and AS9100 industry standards, and common military specifications (

REQUIRED EDUCATION

• Accredited Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related discipline
